Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County’s Women Build program encourages and empowers women to make a difference by building homes and communities. We invite you to join our coalition of Fairfield County women who are addressing the critical shortage of affordable housing by volunteering their time to raise funds for and build Habitat homes here in their own community.
This year, help build the eighth Women Build home in Fairfield County by becoming a sponsor and participating in the construction process. No construction experience is necessary. Volunteers learn new and exciting skills on the jobsite in an inclusive and noncompetitive environment.
No experience needed! Habitat CFC provides relevant construction training on site. Many non-construction involvement opportunities are also available, including positions on event and planning committees.

Get Involved with Women Build! Volunteers are needed to:
- Help write press releases/media relations
- Reach out to community groups
- Join our Women Build “5K Run for Home Committee”
- Join our Gourmet Tasting event Committee
- Help us create and implement new special events
