In Stamford, CL&P helped Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County complete the funding of an eight-unit affordable town home project on a West Main Street site that once hosted an informal landfill. Now eight hardworking, low-income families will have a safe decent place to call home and they will become tax paying contributors to our shared community. |
Platinum GE has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County over many years providing financial support in concert with volunteers who have helped build more than 20 homes in the greater Bridgeport area. ReStore accepts donations of new or nearly new building supplies, furniture and appliances from individuals, contractors, and businesses. Some of the materials will be used to build Habitat homes, and any extra materials will be sold at the Habitat ReStore. Proceeds from the ReStore benefit Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County. |
