The Tom Palazzo Memorial Golf Outing honors the memory of the late Tom Palazzo, a longtime Habitat supporter who each year played at the golf tournament, the last time on September 10, 2001. He died the next day during the 9/11 tragedy at the World Trade Center. The event was renamed in his honor in 2002.

In order for us to reach our goal of ending substandard housing in Coastal Fairfield County, we build homes with donated funds and volunteer labor, then sell the homes at cost to qualified low-income families with a no-interest mortgage. Our Golf Outing, held at the County Club of Fairfield, has been a major fundraiser, the proceeds of which have helped us to build affordable homes, since 1993.

September 19, 2011 will be the 18th Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County’s Tom Palazzo Memorial Golf Outing. Everyone is welcome!
